One-of-a-kind hand-quilted textile. Made of printed and plain cotton fabric and painstakingly free-stitched, this work of art can be used to adorn walls, sofas, beds and is hardy enough to even be used as a carpet. Rillis have also been used as upholstery fabric and even for fabrication of high fashion garments. We, however, love to drape these textiles on any surface just as they are. |

| This pristine and stunning textile features the ajrak -- a block printed fabric that is made using wooden design blocks and vegetable dyes -- and a brilliant floral border on a base of yellow on the front. The back is also stunning -- two broad stripes of sky blue flank a central swath of guava-colored cotton. The free-stitching on this textile is superlative. We give it 5++ out of 5 on our internal rating scale. On the design rating it is also a 5++/5. This piece is in absolutely perfect condition -- a rarity with textiles of this level of quality. This is a rare and beautiful piece. |
